Volunteers ready to support your fire department: canteen, meals, family assistance, and miscellaneous on-scene help — all one dispatch call away.
Volunteers from around Christian County sign up to support Fire and EMS through the Fire Corps program. These dedicated volunteers want to serve those who help our community.
Dispatch will ask you if you would like to request Fire Corps at the 20 minute mark, but you don’t have to wait until they do.
Requesting is simple – ask dispatch to contact Fire Corps when you need help and tell them which service(s) you would like.

Volunteers can provide non-perishable snacks such as granola bars and water bottles to fire personnel. When you request canteen, let dispatch know how many people you need to feed.

If personnel are on-scene for a long time, volunteers can provide meals on a limited basis. When you request meal service, let dispatch know how many people you need to feed.

Volunteers can work with Red Cross to provide basic resources to families in need. This can include helping families immediately after a fire and connecting them to resources. Please contact Red Cross before Fire Corps.

Need other help? Ask dispatch to contact emergency management. We are here to help!
